About Us

The Asia Pacific Alliance for Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (APA) brings together nongovernmental organisations, donors and other stakeholders with common goals to build a strong network to ensure everyone’s right to health is fully achieved through the promotion and inclusion of SRHR in development agendas.

Our goal

The work of the Asia Pacific Alliance for Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights contributes to ensuring everyone's right to health is fully achieved through the promotion and inclusion of sexual and reproductive health and rights.

Our impacts

• Improved sexual and reproductive health services and supplies in developing countries, with a focus in Asia and the Pacific

• An enhanced environment supporting sexual and reproductive health and rights programmes and policies in Asia and the Pacific

Our objectives

1. Increased and diversified funding for sexual and reproductive health and rights

2. Improved international assistance policies and priorities on sexual and reproductive health and rights

3. Strengthened voices on sexual and reproductive health and rights from Asia and the Pacific and regionally-determined priorities in the global arena

Our members

The Asia Pacific Alliance for Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights brings together organisations from countries in Asia and the Pacific. Participating countries include Australia, Japan, New Zealand, South Korea and Thailand. Find out more about the APA network. The Asia Pacific Alliance for Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights works in a cooperative and strategic manner, engaging the skills and expertise of members to advocate for the promotion and inclusion of sexual and reproductive health and rights.
