Household Level Analysis on the Impact of HIV in Asia

 ‘The Socioeconomic Impact of HIV at the Household Level in Asia: a regional analysis” released by the UNDP in December 2011 includes case studies on Cambodia, China, India, Indonesia, Viet Nam.  The studies employed case-controlled, large-scale sample surveys across several provinces in each country and provided scientific evidence on the nature and extent of the social and economic impact of HIV on people living with HIV and their households. Linking sexual and reproductive health and HIV interventions: a systematic review

This study presents the first systematic review and analysis of interventions linking SRH and HIV, as well as identifiying several gaps in the existing evidence. The review was conducted by members of the Cochrane HIV/AIDS Group for the International Planned Parenthood Federation, the United Nations Population Fund, the World Health Organization and the Joint United Nations Programme on HIV/AIDS in 2011.
