UNFPA: ICPD at 15 

2009 marks the 15th anniversary of the International Conference on Population and Development (ICPD) and is a reminder the five years remaining to fulfill the commitments made in Cairo in 1994.

UNFPA has created a website with information on upcoming ICPD at 15 events, activities and products. Visit the UNFPA's website.

According to the UNFPA, ICPD at 15 presents an opportunity to celebrate achievements and progress in implementing the ICPD Programme of Action. It also is an excellent opportunity to highlight the urgency for action and ways of speeding up the implementation of the Programme of Action and achievement of the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs).
