first draft for comments

The first draft Regional road map for implementing the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development in Asia Pacific was released by ESCAP in November 2016. The road map identifies opportunities for members and associate members of ESCAP to cooperate at the regional level, guided by all the principles reaffirmed and agreed to in the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, in the implementation of the 2030 Agenda in Asia and the Pacific, as provided for by the General Assembly in its resolution 70/1 and the Addis Ababa Action Agenda of the Third International Conference on Financing for Development.

The Asia Pacific Forum on Sustainable Development (APFSD) provides a forum for review and dialogue under the road map. It serves as a regional preparatory meeting for the global High-level Political Forum.
