The Toolkit on Bodily Autonomy according to Young people is a response to the commitments that APA member, Youth Coalition for Sexual Reproductive Rights (YCSRR) made to the Generation Equality Forum (GEF) to advance Bodily Autonomy for young people. The YCSRR is a youth leader of the GEF’s Action Coalition on Bodily Autonomy and SRHR. In 2021, the YCSRR conducted a youth-led participatory consultation with historically marginalized groups of young people, to center their voices in the design of the blueprint. These consultations focused on understanding how barriers to comprehensive sexuality education, bodily autonomy, and access to SRHR services manifest to different groups of youth, according to their own context and identities, as well as their priorities on the SRHR agenda.
