APA Members Sukaar Welfare Organization and Chanan Development Association (CDA), in collaboration with the Indus Resource Center (IRC) organized a series of community awareness-raising sessions in Pakistan under the Young Omang Project. The 2024 Project Activity Report highlights these vital grassroots efforts to combat child and forced marriages. The activities aim to raise awareness among communities, schools, and local leaders to eradicate child and forced marriages, aligning with the implementation of The Sindh Child Marriage Restraint Act 2013. By addressing these critical issues, the project aims to contribute to girls' education, reduce poverty, combat gender-based violence, and improve the overall status of SRHR in Pakistan.
